Advisors remain in control of their schedules, workload, business development, and day-to-day working methods.
How Advisor Income Works
This is a commission-based independent contractor opportunity, not a salaried or hourly position. Advisors do not receive a guaranteed paycheck or biweekly payroll. Travel commissions are generally paid only after the client has completed travel and Genesis has received the eligible commission from the supplier. Because booking and travel dates may be months apart, income can be irregular and takes time to build.

Genesis provides training, systems, supplier access, professional resources, and business support, but does not guarantee leads, bookings, commissions, income, or a specific level of business success.
No Monthly Membership Fee
Genesis does not charge advisors a recurring monthly membership fee.
One-Time Onboarding Fee
A one-time $175 onboarding and account setup fee applies after acceptance into the program. This supports administrative setup, onboarding, and access preparation for GTC systems and resources.
Commission Structure
Advisors begin with an 80/20 commission split, receiving 80% of eligible net commissions paid to Genesis by the supplier. Advisors who demonstrate consistent annual sales of $150,000 or more may become eligible for annual review for an enhanced split of up to 90/10, generally after at least two annual performance periods.
The $150,000 benchmark is used only to evaluate eligibility for an enhanced commission split. Genesis does not impose monthly sales quotas, and advisors are not penalized for remaining at the standard 80/20 level.

- Available consortium resources and participating supplier booking systems.
- Genesis Travel Collective training and Advisor University resources.
- Access to WeTravel for approved advisor travel workflows.
- GTC supplier relationships, professional resources, and ongoing business support.
Optional Outside Expenses
Advisors may use the tools and resources provided through Genesis. Any optional software, subscriptions, marketing services, or other resources selected outside GTC systems are obtained at the advisor's own expense.
Individual Advisor Credentials
Advisors affiliated with GTC may pursue individual IATA/IATAN, CLIA, and ASTA credentials or certifications when eligible. These credentials are not automatically granted upon joining and may require separate applications, qualifications, coursework, or fees.
